Hilltop House is a commanding manor house situated on the summit of Hollow Hill, directly above Emberfall Cavern in the Ashgate Reach district.
Constructed by JackFox, the building’s exterior was completed on 19 August 2026. The estate currently serves as a joint manor for JackFox and LACON, though local surveyors note that due to its prominent location and iconic presence, there is significant potential for the building to be repurposed into a major institutional or civic structure in the future.
Architectural Provenance
In adherence to the district’s resource management protocols, Hilltop House was built entirely from the stone excavated directly from the depths of Emberfall Cavern below. This architectural choice literally tethers the manor to the hollowed earth it sits upon. The remaining stone extracted during the cavern’s mining operations has been catalogued and stored for use in future public works and infrastructure projects across Ashgate Reach.
As of its initial construction, the house remains in a state of internal fit-out, with the interior spaces yet to be fully furnished.
