The Cavey Minecraft Bedrock Realm is a semi-vanilla survival experience . This means while the core game feels like the Minecraft you know, we have added layers of light roleplay and functional infrastructure to make the world feel alive, professional, and historically deep.
The Additive Rule.
In the real world, locations grow and evolve, but they are rarely reset to zero . We follow a strict Additive (not subtractive) Rule:
- We do not tear down old buildings. If a house is no longer needed, its function changes (e.g., a bedroom becomes an archive).
- Every change is recorded here in the Eldersign Index or in the Central Library of Eldersign.
- We build so that a stranger exploring our realm a year from now can “uncover” our history just by looking at the layers of our towns .
What is Functional Infrastructure?
Unlike traditional servers where a house is just a place to sleep, here, buildings have jobs.
- Constructing specific buildings gives players new abilities. For example, building a tavern may provide feast buffs for temporary increased health.
- Every building is assigned a Postal Glyph (like AG>3<OW) to make navigation and trade efficient.
- Owning a building often comes with a role, such as the Stablemaster or the Foldmaster.
Modifications & Add-ons
We use a curated set of add-ons to improve immersion and management without breaking that vanilla feel.
- The Naturalist: Adds a vast variety of realistic animals to the world, encouraging us to build things like a future Zoo.
- Tarot Cards: Unique cards found in treasure chests. Carrying them provides passive buffs (like extra speed or strength).
- Enhanced Transit: We use faster minecarts and two-player horses to make the long roads between settlements feel shorter.
- Wayfinder Compass: A special tool that allows you to set and locate custom waypoints across the world.
- Quality of Life: We use Tree Decapitator for efficient wood-cutting and one-player sleep so the night passes quickly for everyone.
- Keep Inventory is active, ensuring your hard-earned items stay with you if you fall.
